PBEM++ System - "Play as..." chooses wrong side.

So I am trying to create a PBEM++ game, Since I am playing SOVIET and they have turn 1, I figure I choose "Play as SOVIET".

This causes the game to show my side as NATO.

I have to do it the opposite way to make it show my side as SOVIET.

According to the manual: "Side – the side that will be played by the Challenger."
I assume I am the Challenger, and whoever accepts it is the Acceptor.

What scenario was that?

This was a custom scenario under construction and being play-tested (Nordkapp 1984).

That same thing happens to me too.......everytime I create a challenge. I've
learned about the workaround....choosing the opposite of what you want to play.

I've experienced the same thing.

It worked incorrectly for the first game I started, but worked correctly for a second game I started.

Looks like this is a known issue.
