No matter what I try to download lately, I always get IP Address blocked, or error, or some such nonsense.
With updates, there's generally an alternative, like going through the game's updater. However, I can't go through the updater this time as I will have to uninstall the game.
Is there a different link....or something? I really (obviously) need 2.0.

Try the Members Club. I noticed that the traffic yesterday was... bringing the FTP server down its knees; happened when people tried to update TOAW IV as well.

Yes, you do need to download the installer from your My Games member page, as it is a remastered Core install now, instead of an Update. CSME 1.0x Game Launcher won't find an UPDATE for this reason, as there's none (new updates) available.

Looks like an AW or firewall issue.. or the No Such Agency blocked it? *grin*. Sorry. Check the AV/FW settings; the tracert to the Matrixgames FTP works fine from my side (fatherland) at least.
