Can't get NATO icons to show

Well, I have a lot of studying to do. Offering free patch and 50% off? What fool wouldn't buy it, but hope this strategy works for you.

To my point, I change to NATO Icon from 3D in file menu, re-start game, but no icons. Not that I really care, the little shadows look so nice. But figured I'm doing something wrong or I should at least report it.

Congrats on the release - and how nice to include the mods, too.

Rousseau, can you post a screenshot of your game with NATO icons not showing on counters? You should not need to restart game, the change should be immediate.

Let me guess... no 2D or NATO icons when you started the game the 1st time (had the same problem, incl. a black and scr*wed up screen).

Could you dump your DxDiag log file by any chance?

I didn't realize one of the zoom options shows counters. From there you get NATO. Gaming 30 years, so definitely old age.

No problems... 1st install for some reason, as described, showed a screwed up scenario selection menu... and trouble-shooting 101 deduced me to just restart the system LOL. In most cases that helps with 1st install 'hick-ups'.

Just an fyi, but first time ever happened, Avast interfered with the install process, so shut it off and re-installed fine.

NATO symbols only appear on counters in the 2D modes, not in 3D.

You have to be in 2D mode in order to see the NATO counters

So, hit '5' and you'll see them.
