Unit(s) thermometer has vanished

As the title says, the unit thermometer that formerly was shown
when a unit was highlighted over on the right hand side of the
screen has dis-appeared. How to get it back? I assume it's a
hot key but I can't find it. Help?

You mean the single unit info box with the compass rose in it? No longer available, I am afraid. There's the Unit List sidebar still available, with an added option to position at the left or fight side of the game window.

Do you mean thermometers activated with the "T" shortcut ?
