Operation Paukenschlag

Post by Kuestenkind »

Hello,
I would like to incorprate "Operation Paukenschlag" (German Submarine Operation against Allied Sealines on the American East-Coast in February 1942)6 Submarines are to be brougt on transit from the North Sea or Baltic to the North American Coast in one Wolf Pack. I followed the handbook to define 6 starting and 6 ending positions.As example I used the jumping operation from North Atlantic to der Persion gulf and adapted it to my desired positions. After Saving the Jump occurs in the event files Loop. However, nothing happens.The boats remain in tneir starting positions. I tried several ways without any result. I assume my mistake ma be somewhere within the handling of saving or so.
I need help and appreciate Your support.Please be so kind to review my attached script to see where it is wrong.
Thanks
Kuestenkind

I suggest that you post your scripts. I have a hard time getting my loops to work as well. Maybe someone can spot something you missed. I usually had to do with a link for me.

[left]The only thing I can see immediately is the #FRIENDLY_POSITION.

Does #FRIENDLY_POSITION= 159,72 have a resource or city? This is required in most cases.

Maybe leave #FRIENDLY_POSITION blank.

Flag= 0

This line means this script is turned off. Change it to “Flag= 1” to turn the script on. At least then you can test if it works.

Hi

Does DE 622 fire ok?

If so then it is just the loop that has an issue, and the solutions recommended above should fix that. Remembering of course to update the scripts when you save the campaign.
