Does TOAW IV simulate capturing enemy equipment?

Post by jarraya »

Just getting back into TOAW (played II and III but haven't touched it for over 3 years!) and was reminded why I loved this game so much.

Does the game simulate capturing enemy equipment in any way? Been reading a lot about the Western Desert campaign and the Allies certainly used captured Italian equipment. Is this modelled in the game in any way?

It can be modelled as an event and with place holder TO&E, e.g. the same way upgrades of equipment is being simulated.

I will demonstrate such an event/usage of captured equipment in the upcoming Tutorial '50s series.
