In the Unit Encylopedia under the headings RANGE, KILL, and PENTRATION the numbers have colons. What do the numbers to the left and right of these colons mean??

If I recall correctly it describes the weapons performance with different ammo.

For instance Pen 43:150 Means that the weapon can penetrate an armor rating of 43 with HE and 150 with AP. The same is true for the Kill value. Then there are max ranges for HE/AP:APC.

If i remember well the old SP 1, these should be
- For Kill-Penetration, the HE value : the AP value.
- For range, it'm less sure, think it should have something to do with Max:Min range for Special ammos like missiles (euh, maybe i 'm confused with sp2 :-)) or AP:HVAP range, maybe HE:AP range as well. Is it not stated in the manual ?
