Counters and Maps

Is there any way to simply make the counters and maps and their counter numbers larger? The maps and counters are a bit to small for me to read. Iv'e tried different resolutions and scaling in windows and the windows magnifier and none of those solutions worked.

Press touch "windows" with, in the same time, the touch "+", you activate the magnifying glass.
