That was a bad impulse for Germany, lost 2 planes, 2 pilots, ENG and O-chit for nothing.

Do you think game is over or can Axis still rise?

Of course Axis can still rise. They still got much going for them. Although they didn't gain any hex in France it cost France two units as well. A bomber that can not be replaced and a land unit. 11 BPs on units for Germany against 6 BPs for France. And an offensive less for Germany.

Although, in my humble opinion, it was a high risk operation all along. Even if they had captured the hex it doesn't really get them any closer to Paris. And next impulse might still have bad weather.

Anyway. Germany can recover. The question, in my mind, can the Axis morale recover.

This is hard for Germany: To send one sun to North Atlantic box 2 (CW has unprotected CPs there) or take land and move all units towards west.

I would take the SUB out. Decent chance that the turn ends and if the sub finds, then it mess up the Allied production. Although the Allied ships will mess up the SUB if they roll a one.

And Germany can not make any attack into France with the disorganized troops there.

And I doubt that France will advance back into Belgium again. So I think you will have time to advance further next impulse. Although that impulse is likely to be next turn since it is very unlikely we get one more impulse in this turn.

Yes, Germany goes with combined and moves units closer to front line.

Any interest for an Italian HQ on the West front for supply purposes in bad weather? Or is it better that it keep up the pressure on the Alp front and can rail instead if there is an emergency?
