SPWAW Scenario design - Player control problem

Post by Ranger75 »

Hello Friends,

Uisng the editor, I have created a scenario for SPWAW v. 7.0. When my opponent and I try it online, only one player is allowed to play. The computer takes over the other side.

When I open the scenario in editor and click deploy and then HQ, the game reports that both sides are player 1 !!??

I have tried building other scenarios and the same thing happens. Finally, I called up a scenario that had both player one and player two. Then I began modifying the OB, and darned if both sides didn't become player 1.

Does anybody know how to change those player settings?

Problem Solved

REMF, AKA Warrior, sent me the following solution:

In the editor, open your scenario and hit Deploy for Player Two units. It should open with the A0 HQ unit showing. Now hit F2, then "N" for next unit, F2, and so on for all Player Two units. Go to the unit roster ("H) and you should see all the units are now P2 for player two.

Thanks very much. It works!

This is a flaw in the game.

When you've finished your scenario, and are ready to use it, click on side 2, then unit roster. Look and see if all units are now P2. If not you can change them per Steve's instructions.
