Strategic Command v1.11 "Speed Increase" version now available

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Hello ludi18671

I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulties, our IT team are still working on this and I don't think it will be a quick fix (and some of it is outside our control I'm afrad)
The issue is at the Eurpoena end, so if you were playing someone else in North America you should not experience a problem.

As you have noted - the issue is intermittant and is dependent on how much 'traffic' there is at any given time

As mentioed, our team are working on improvements our end but we will have to ask for your patience with this matter

regards
Ben Wilkins

Ben Wilkins - thank you for your reply. I have had another problem loading 1.12 with a North American contact (29 Jan 18). So the move to 1.12 did not solve this problem!

Hello ludi18671
v1.12 was not released to fix this problem as the issue is with the server and not the game (and so other titles will be affected, not just SC). Much as he would like to Hubert cannot fix this problem! it is something for the Matrix / Slitherine IT team (who are working on it)

To Benedict151 - Thank you for your reply. I am still having problems with downloading PBEM games - the second last time I had a "Http DOWNLOAD error" (whatever that is). The last time I was able to play the game and I chose to replay the turn before (as I normally do, and it worked fine this time).

To Benedict151 I was able to successfully play three games today, but I received an email from one of my opponents that indicates that this problem is not fixed yet. He had been unable to communicate with the PBEM server for at least 15 minutes, and even emailed me an image showing his problem (connection error (-4) PBEM communication error).

Thanks ludi
I'm afraid the IT team are still looking into it and some of it is out of our hands, I know its frustrating but we're working on what we can

If you're referring to the USA to Murmansk convoy bug, then I can confirm that Hubert told me to day that it is working in v1.11.

No..I'm talking about the Axis units coming within 3 hexes of Murmansk bug.

Are you referring to the issue I had where I had an Axis unit within 3 hexes of Murmansk which should have triggered the USA to Murmansk convoy to switch its destination to Archangelsk, but it did not? If so, then this has apparently been fixed in v1.11. If not, what specific Murmansk bug are you referring to?

Was this actually fixed? I haven't seen this yet and I've attempted it.

It should have been, if not and if you have a saved turn where we can take a look that would be great, thanks!
