Having seen how many more rounds the Axis player was able to conduct when I played the Kasserine 43 scenario as the Allied player, I realized that I could do much better. I studied the manual - truly - and looked at a thread by one of the veteran players here.
Putting what I learned allowed me to get 3-4 attack rounds in each turn. The key is using the planned combat report once all attacks are set up to ensure that there are none lasting significantly longer than the others.
This slide shows how by looking at planned attacks you can determine why an attack was going to take so long and how to shorten it.
