Loading attachment PBEM turn

We've been playing online via the server. But Mark had to send me a turn the old fashioned way. It's asking me for a password. Nothing I have works. Are we SOL?

Try the password you used to start the game. That PW should be it. Also, you will not be able to go back to PBEM++ system....GP

I am the opponent in this case. Whenever I save a turn, it saves it locally on my PC, never on the server. Previously, the last 50 turns, it would still execute the turn to the server.

This time however it saved the end turn locally. Mike has been unable to open it due to a password, but I just tried opening the turn, and guess what? It opened for me (his turn) without asking for a password.

Then, Can you say RESTART??? This has happened to me and Larry before. One time we decided to play the other sides forces. That didn't last long....GP

Don't get me wrong, the PBEM++ system is great, but needs more work as far as how it saves games. Larry and I are using it now. I find it is better to use with non monster scenarios....GP

Agree, you use your matrix registration password to get into the PBEM++ server, then if you want to use a password posted game, use your new password to continue. But your original PBEM++/registration access code should work for a non-password game. This is my understanding, I usually post non-password game challenges.

I tried both my PBEM++ password, as well as the Challenge password used to launch the scenario. No dice. Guess it's a loss. Oy.

Disconcerting news about the PBEM ++, which is what I prefer to use here. Wish I had an answer. If I find anything about this, I will post it here.
