My fleet will bring them back to safety.

Time for the AI to play...

But, for an unknown reason, the army did not embark in the fleet. I did have to repeat the process once more. [:@]
This time they are indeed back but in which state...

All right, this is time to stop mistakes. I am THE terror of Rome if it continues.
First, re-building the armies.

Great AAR !

To answer your question of a few posts before, IIRC the siege works cards do not regenerate.

I hope you enjoy playing against Hannibal’s AI. We strove to make it challenging. I had lots of fun trying to perfect the AI scripts in this game. It was specially hard to ”persuade” the generic AI (which is pretty good, IMHO) to make such a foolish move as invading Italy by crossing the Alps [:D]

Great AAR, thanks for posting it. Coincidentally I have just begun a 2nd Punic War scenario as I work my way through the entire AJE franchise in chronological order but it would be unfair to learn from your experience so one Consular Army is off to Illyria for the summer of 219 campaign season!

A great AAR of what is still my favourite/the best AGEOD game, IMO. You have put me in the mood to go play it again. Thanks for your post's thus far.
