can't get a pilot from pool

trying to get a pilot for my wellington X squadron and I just get a message "not enough manpower in the national pool".
I can'y understand, it seems I should have 9 trained crews available for Brits. Any clue?

As with ground elements some pilot crews require manpower.

ok I guessed I needed some other crew than pilots (gunners, radioman, navigator) for big bombers;
anyway isn't this the pool needed? It seems it has manpower available

Click on All Pools in the bottom right of the production screen until you see Active Pools. It could be that this manpower is in the transit pool and not available this turn.

I've downloaded save and was able to add pilot to the No.142 RAF. Was using 1.02.xx and 1.01.72.
