That's a very good point. All of the new landscapes were added after the stock titan database. I never really though about that, but it's true.

A small problem is that TOS netgames take a long time so players try to make it playable by selecting duels. These duels should be better played by premade teams were each player is using HIS titan and a jock capable of using it.
TOS netgames still will take their time with WS but I managed to negate those delays till the next titan is ready for action. In WS these delays (very painfull if both are waiting for something) will be skipped very efficiently. The freeware was exchanging data each second, WS will calculate the effects of each increment and just transmitt when the next action is available.

TOS WS multiplayer :
Since I haven't played real WS netgames yet I just can tell that I enjoy hotseat games with my friend sharing a team against the AI as well as a LAN party with three friends each playing a full team.
But we also added great single player enhancements with three campaigns of 7 maps each were players meet a fierce AI which has learned to defend, hold positions, patrol or reinforce. Other AI improvemnts also availabe in random maps include much better pathfinding, laying smoke screens and lighting woods as well as superior selection of good targets.
The AI will also adjust its tactical skills according to the level choosen so rookie players will benefit from mistakes from a rookie AI which a veteran AI won't do.

I just went through a 4 way on Friday, Hetzer and I against Ducados and Taren. After a lot of running through the woods, Ducados snuck up and started pouning Hetzer with his heavy mesons, to little apparent effect. Taren's Auto Da Fe was essentially nullified in the beginning, we kept lighting his hex on fire and throwing up clouds of steam. While Hetzer played bullseye I snuck around to the side and regained contact with Tarn. In a valiant effort to save my buddy from certian destruction, I charged out of the woods and promptly caught a plasma burst and face-planted into the tundra. Never to be frightened, I got back up into a crouch, and then my MindFlayer really proved its worth.. poor Taren got knocked unconscious from several solid hits with my three neutron blasters and flopped helpless on the ground. Then I turned my attention on Ducados, using my plasma guns to whittle down what armor Hetzer' PinCushion lad left on him, which was more than I expected. I managed to help turn bits of him red, and was just about to move in for the kill, when Taren pops his head up again and decides he wants more hard radiation in his diet. Two more blasts connect and Taren is melting in his seat. I keep pumping neutrons into him until I realize that he'd been dead for quite a while, and then turn back to finish off that annoying Crumbler. Now Ducados has crouched in the middle of a thicket, and I can't get a clear line of fire, so I just torch it up and run in to fight it out with my fists. Somehow I manage to jump over an icy lake and land with two seconds of jump fuel left, and run up trying to get closeenough to use something on him. Just as I get a hex away, my jumpjets have recharged a bit, and I decide to DfA on him. He suddelny realizes now that a barely damaged MindFlayer hurtling through the ky at him is more of a threat than Hetzer's now barely running PinCushion, so he pumps the last of his meson rounds into me. It tickles a bit. And then my titan slams into him and knocks him flat. I start whooping on him like it's going out of style, and then slice off his arm with a point-blank plasma jet while he screams helplessly. Hetzer sees a great opportunity now and shatters his lower torso with a perfectly placed ac4 round, and then it was more or less all over.

It was a sad, sad match for me. Those NBs made my jock into mush too fast for me to really have any effect. It was made worse by drawing an Auto Da Fe, which packs flamers, in the polar map. Put it together, and you have one bad loss.
Fortunately, I made up for it by winning a game against Ducados and two more against TitanFodder. Then I went and lost another one against Ducados, in which we both got NM titans, only I overheated and popped first.
Sorry for the lack of details on my matches, but it was days ago, and I have a bad memory for details sometimes. (Must be too many NB hits...)

Last week was your BRG one, and this is your NB, what will be next, Taren?
About our game on Sunday, we were both on a Kastuo, an own design with 6 NM14 and 1 CLG. I´ll try to post its sheet in the right topic, so you can tell me what is right and wrong of the design. I have 2 versions, 1 with and the other without shield. The trouble is (maybe a bug) that the one without shield only weights 194 tons, so in a duel is much probable that if one gets it the opponent also does. Is that posible?

Hopefully it's my "Win every game by blowing the head off of my opponent" week.

Pulled off a very, very close win against Red Coyote. We dueled with Lights on the Savannah. I got an Iron Scorpion (3 SRM8) and he got a Lynx (2 AC7, 2 SRM4). Basically we ran up to each other and started pounding. On the way, I dodged a lot, and managed to avoid quite a few hits. I got in a few of my own, too. When we closed, we went to work. In fairly short order we were both red and yellow all over. Coyote lost a RA, then I lost my RA. I took out his RT, then he took out mine. Finally, a really lucky punch caused a 38 point ammo explosion in his LT, taking it and his CT out and giving me a win. I had less than 5 points of internal structure left in my LT, LoT and LA, and only 7 in my CT. It was a very worrisome game.

Managed a second win against Coyote in the dungeon with mediums. (Sounds like a game of Clue, eh? Heh.) I got a Baelrog (1 TB, 1 SRM8) and he got a Hellcat (Looked like 2 PLs.) Early on, my shield defended me many times against his lasers, though it went down once, while I slipped in several SRM hits. When I got close, The first TB took out his shield. The next one hit his RA and stripped it of most of it's protection. Coyote tried a DfA, but was knocked out of the air by a very lucky SRM hit that did 6 to his LoT. From there, it went downhill for him. By the time he stood up, his RA and RT were red, and my next TB took out the RT (a called shot.). He stayed up, but it was almost over. He still got several hits in, though, and had my head yellow, a source of some consternation for me. A TB to his CT turned it red, an SRM salvo chipped it down a little more, then a punch finished it off.

First game in a year while waiting for WS to arise.
My medium titan with 2xAC12 + 2xL.Meson + Shield1 was to much for his twin large laser titan. As soon as I had the height advantage and 10 hexes to go I knew he was finished. My shield negated multiple hits, my meson damaged one laser and his BC and my Ac12 finished his CT after he was prone without a leg.

coyote vs duc
two fights against Coyote27 tonight:
1. Recons on Savanah, I got a Moth (1PG) and he got a Hornet (2SL). We didn´t saw until we were 2 hexes from each other, and that was his advantage. I ran to a river and he pursued me. This Moth, as Coyote said, is a sniper, it can run an fire due to no energy points to recharge the PG. He charged me in water and took away my both arms, but this titan doesn´t need them. Then I run away, but he finally got me and finished with my engine.
2. Heavies on Dungeon, we both dueled in Magnum (1HMG, 2SR8, 1AC20). We saw each other since the begining, but took a long time to get our positions (we demonstrated how cowards we are). When we were closer there was an exchange of rounds, but two lucky shots of the ac20 to his head (not called) took it out.

It would've been an act of mercy 100 seconds earlier.
I'm glad to see the amount of online battling seeming to increase again. Welcome back to the battles, Larkin.
Now all we need is Rosary, Iceman and Marga to come duel. (Hope you all take that as a hint. Heh heh.)
