Moving to lower sea box

Hi - has a situation where during a turn I wanted to naval move units to the ‘1’ box so that st turns end they could stay at sea and move to the ‘0’ box to protect convoys for the next turn. If there were no opposing units in the sea area or opposing units were all disorganized, then one just picks up the units and moves them to the 1 box. But if there are active opposing units, instead of an “intercept/ don’t intercept” digression coming up, I got the “Can’t move sea units directly from one sea area to another “ message and then could only move the units to the ‘0’ box which defeats the purpose of course. There must be something about how I’m moving the ships....?

Can you post a game turn where this is happening to you? You should be able to do this but if you can't then it's a bug.

Thanks - Ok I’ll figure out how to post a turn- I was going to play another turn to see if I can figure out if I’m doing something wrong...
