Account at Matrix Homepage

Is there any benefit to log on as a user at the Matrix Homepage itself?
I just created an account to see what happens, but it looks like that account was only used for some old forum software.

FYI On the frontpage both "Store locator" & "Development" links return a CGI error.

If I was able to setup an account on the store link and order KP and give my CC info is my order still ok? Everything with the ordering of KP went smoothly so I hope everthing is ok with it. Thanks for any confirmation that my order is ok as I did not have any problems.
