Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

I am playing battleground Italy and advancing slowly !!

when i capture a town there are often rail yard and manpower factories. I understand the rail yards but what do the manpower factories represent. I thought manpower was replacements for battle casualties but is this the case

THANK YOU

Tony,

The manpower would be Axis manpower "supplies". You can't use them as the Allies.

Actually, the manpower in Italy starts filling up the Western Allied Italian manpower pool once the Allies take control. French/Dutch/Belgian manpower locations provide you with men for their divisions, as well.
