WitW or WitE?

Looking to pick up one on the Steam sale. Have win10 computer. Which one do people suggest and why? Thanks.

WITW because the air game is much much more better and refined and it's overall a better game.

WITW is slightly more manageable in scale and time (although small scenarios for both). Both great games in their own right but if I had to pick one to get to grips with first I'd go west (young man). It's the allies on the offensive throughout so you miss some of the ebb and flow of the grand campaign in the East, but it's still epic in scope. If you want a land war go east, if you want air and land and (slightly abstracted) sea go west.
However the clincher might be that WITE2 is in the pipeline (though I suspect still quite a way off...) and will be built on many of the WITW concepts/advances in the air. So by the time that comes out you'll be adept at the new WITE2 rather than settling for the older WITE now.

I have played extensively both games, and since WiTW came out I honestly cannot go back to WiTE (I tried).

WiTW is a much more polished game, and gives you the impression of being "in charge", whereas WiTE there is a lot more "gaming the system".

But both are awesome games and I cannot wait for WiTE2 !
