air unit dbr colors

Having read both Curtis Lemay's and Obert Klinks info panels on dbr colors, I'm still hoping for some clarification.

On the main map I see blue, yellow, and green circles. The blue and yellow are always the same range, I suppose being the bombing range (yellow) and the AA (air vs air?, blue), and naval spotting range in a dashed green circle.

The green circle seems to show up randomly in the scenario I'm playing (B41 Barbarossa). Sometimes the unit info shows a naval specialty, sometimes not.

Am I right on the above. Please clarify if you can.
