Here's the northern front lines right now. I've surrounded most of the Soviet
resistance and I'm heading NE toward Pskov and I haven't moved anybody in this
image yet so I expect to arrive there this late this turn or early the next.

I defeated the Soviet defenders and so now I've got a crossing over the river and I'v
going to spread out and block all the avenues for escape if I can.

Here's the T7 front lines before I have moved anybody.

I didn't get to Pskov to easily gain the city because the Soviets were already there
and dug in and my Panzers didn't have enough juice to tackle it but other units are
moving up and I'll soon have a majority and can either go around or just duck my head
and bull straight forward with lots of arty prep so as to gain the city the hard way.
I'd rather go around and attack them from the north after surrounding them.

Here's Orsha right now. I'm rushing the units up against the units near the river
and fighting for the crossings. I'm debating whether or not to rest a turn just for
the refit it would give. My units are tired from the constant fighting and I'm
going to have to rest some of them.

I've got attacks scheduled for the Soviet units around Pskov and I expect them to
be successful. I've got Panzers nearby but they are tired and worn down and I really
can't expect too much from them until they get some rest and refit. I need to take
a look at the losses so far.

I've decided to use Minsk's four airfields as an airdrome and stock it with a lot of
planes and park an HQ unit where he can service all four airfields and all those
airplane units at the same time. I'm flying the tired plane units to Konigsberg
because that sounds like a good spot for a repair depot and an R&R spot for
the aircrews as they wait for their planes in the shop for repair. There' another
collection of airfields at Warsaw but I've been flying the extra tired planes to Berlin
because that's a good spot to park an HQ as well.

Here's the T9 front lines before I have moved anybody.

Here's what Smolensk looks like right now. I'm fighting over the river crossings and trying
to get across the rivers and to the east of Orsha. Smolensk is the goal but there's a lot
of Soviets to wade through first. I'm really excited about getting on the east side of Kiev
because I'd like to surround the city before I take it down. I'm not even close to Kiev yet
so there's time for the movement I think.

Here's what Kiev looks like right now. I'm sneaking up on the city slowly. The lines
stretch from here to the south where I'm chasing Soviets up agains the two rivers and
I'm fighting for crossings. The low supply levels make it a slow process.

Here's what Odessa looks like right now. I'm forcing the crossings and streaming troops
across them and spreading out looking for Soviet units. There's some mop up going on
but most of the troops are across the river and pushing east. I'm going to put together
a Rumanian delegation and send them to Odessa to get the siege started. I've already started
the arty for the Odessa siege moving to the south. It's a multi-day trip to get here from
up near Riga.

I finished the moving of the units in T9 and did a save game and pulled the trigger and
all the combats resolved and this is what combat round one involved. I got a lot of
good hits and my losses were light for the most part. The one arty bombardment got some
good hits. One of my better rounds. Turn one excluded.

I dropped some paratroopers up north to try to accellerate the clean up of the bottleneck
area and the city of Narva, I think it is. I've got some Panzers resting near Pskov and
they are going to try a sprint to Leningrad to see how close they can get.

Here's what Pksov looks like right now. I'm branching out and pushing and there's
a lot of movement going on. Lots of meeting engagements and old fights. Things seem
to be going well at the moment.

I stopped the Soviet turn for a quick peek at some of the losses so far. I can't tell
if that's heavy losses or not, he's got a lot of them on hand. At least we'll have a
snapshot of some of the numbers from T9.

Here's what the northern front lines look like right now. I'm still fighting for
sole possession of the bottleneck area and I'm optimistic that I can do it.

Here's Smolensk right now. I'm still pushing for the city and I've leaped across the
river so the going is easier but it's still slow because the supply levels are so low
in this AO. I'm having to rest half of them and attack with the other half. It's a
lot of micromanagement but that's the way of unit management anyway. I've got to trim
the ranges of my aircraft so that there's not so many losses. The bombers anyway.
