Disbanding Air Units

Post by IainF »

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, did a search and couldn't find anything.

Is there a hard-coded reason why we can't disband air units that have taken a beating to get their equipment into the pool to beef up other units?

§§ Disband Unit – Disbanded units are removed
from the map and return their equipment
to your Supply Pool. It is not possible to
disband units that are Routed, Reorganizing,
Unsupplied, or “In Garrison.”

I know that thanks Lobster.

I was wondering why you can't disband air units. For example in the Campaign for North Africa I have had 2 half strength Me-110 units slowly building up for ages and I'd have liked to have the ability to disband one to bring the other up to strength quickly then start on the other one.

So was just wondering why you can't disband air units, is it hard coded or is it scenario set?
