Free France alignment issue

If you look under 'relations' you will see that Free France is not aligned with the Commonwealth and instead states 'incomplete conquered'.
Free France should be able to cooperate with the CW should it not? Not exactly understanding what went wrong here. File is attached. Thank you.

RAW:

Free France is considered an incompletely conquered major power
from now on unless otherwise specified. It is run by the French player.

and:

Commonwealth and Free French units co-operate.

So this is completely correct.

Our issue is that Free France & CW cannot co-operate. We had a fault in 1940 when France went to surrender (instead of Vichy) & system failed to do the surrender correctly.

We need one of the clever people to amend the game file so Free F. & CW can co-operate.

If France surrenders or is conquered, Free France is not created. In those cases, the French don't cooperate with the CW.

Yes, but as stated, the original plan was to sureender but something messed up. I loaded the game file to see if there was a Vichy and it certainly appears there are Vichy forces in play.

I don't know of any beta tools that can fix this and suggest looking in the Mods threads for Ronnie's manual on editing the game save files and see if that yields any possibilities... or maybe Ronnie can comment on this?

If there are FF units they should cooperate with the USA and for any naval combats involving FF naval units cooperation doesn't matter.

Actually there are two cells in the table for Allied relations to check.

Commonwealth - Free France
and
Free France - Commonwealth.

The program provides two pieces of information here. In one France is shown as incompletely conquered. In the other cell, Free France is shown to cooperate with the Commonwealth.

I ran your game and Commonwealth naval units were able to return to base to Free French ports - proving that they cooperate.
