The Operation Art of Editing Black Boxes

Post by Gandalf »

I opened up the TOAW IV editor to learn to use it for a scenario I'm considering putting together, but as I move the mouse cursor I get a trail of black boxes that are hard to work around and seem to have a random time for clearing up/expiring. What gives?

Do you have the latest patch?

If duct tape doesn't fix it then you are not using enough duct tape.

I recall others having this problem upon release. You might want to look around and see how they resolved it.

OK, That work around did the trick. Hope the tool tips aren't really helpful for the editor!

Kinda silly to have to go into the newgame/scenario/options to change the tool tips settings for the editor however. Should have separate tooltip.ini settings for the editor vs game. OR am I missing a tool tip setting in the editor menu someplace?
