SGA accompanied with CCTV journalist to report the rebel raid near Damascus. During the raid they discovered the chemical laboratory used by rebel forces. Many Chinese media outlets reported this is a conspired attack to draw NATO and UN attentions, but thwarted by local journalists:

This can be a scenario inspiration -- if US alone or NATO join forces to attack Syria, both Russia and China will prove the chemical attack isn't from the regime, but how likely they will stand together?

If they really said that recently instead of the following day after the strike, then it means Israel don't trust IAEA. Or it's just serving it as a political warning if Iran still meddle with Syria, which is actually under Russian's protection.

This time I would not post a link to quote about the “Trade War has begin” between US and China, because this news is everywhere right now. Their actions and reactions against tariff will also likely affecting their military decisions too.

China is mass producing metamaterials in a state-run lab that reportedly functions as 'invisibility cloaks' and could be used to make fighter jets impossible to detect, according to local media.
A broadcast by China Central Television Station (CCTV), revealed that a laboratory in Shenzhen, in southeastern China, is manufacturing various types of highly technological materials—including invisibility, anti-burning and anti-icing cloaks.
However, the functions of these materials have not yet been disclosed. Chinese news platform Sina reported that the assembly line is directly related to the military and the materials are likely to be used to camouflage J-20 fighter jets.

I find it quite amusing when metamaterial research was announced in 2013, and there are few news mentioned it later on but nobody cares. If not the DailyMail report it like some sort of uber-advanco artifact from aliens, then nobody will believe stealth can bypass radio waves by metamaterial, aside from absorbion and reflection.
Even US did research metamaterial 7 years ago and comes with a breakthrough, it just went silent. But it's no longer a secret R&D :
