What to do to promote my game?

Hi hello...
I play games (of course), but I also earn a living by developing games. Do you guys have ideas to promote my games in Appstore and on the Internet? How to reach mass game player and what attract you guys in a game? Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you!! [;)]

Drop us a line over at the GrogHeads forums - plenty of computer gamers over there, and a lot of discussion of up-and-coming titles that other sites seem to pick up and run with after our guys start talking about them.

Yeah Grogheads is a must to post about your game. As mentioned they lead the way and others follow in their wake. So post on their forum

Also if you think its something A Wargamers Needful Things would like to review PM me.

It's so difficult to promote a website or game without being g accused a spammer. It's been the biggest obstacle I found regarding AWNT.

Oh yes, Grogheads! how could I forgot about it [:'(] I'm also a member of that forum but not so active, I'll keep that in mind, thanks guys! so does the game description and screenshots play an important role in attracting download and trial? I will make a short trailer for the game but I read that the text also helps, especially in a forum post. How would you guys think?
Btw, I just have a look at AWNT and see it's potential to have review articles from top gamers and experts. I will definitely send you message after discussing with my team, because we're also contacting some game website to post reviews and how-to-play guide on. Thanks @wodin!
