[font="Verdana"]Salutations!
As much as I enjoy the game , there's a feature, or rather the lack of it that bothered me immensely for the past few days.
I'm unsure wheter that could be added ( if even planned ), or maybe it's actually included and I can't find it, but what I personally miss in the ToTH's editor is a map overlay feature.
I understand that this might bug just me ( albeit I doubt it ) and could be the result of my inability to use the editor to it's full potential. Although it seems to me, that to even try to make a decent, good-looking, functional map, I'd have to do some work-around.
It might seem like I'm a bit of a lazy person, and indeed that's true ( to some degree [8|] ), I heavily rely on the map overlay in other games, thus I expected ( indeed a bit foolishly of me ) that this title might have it as well.
Map overlay does speed up the proccess quite a bit ( A LOT IMHO ), and is quite usefull when making accurate maps.
Maybe someone could point out some different method of trying to make "accurate" maps?
In any case, pardon if it's been talked about in any previous thread ( I failed to find one ), as well my somewhat broken english, It's not my first-( mother)-language, thus it might be a tad rough on the edges.
Thank you for your time and understanding [:)]!
Much Obliged.

Respectfully,
Floofy

There are some user made files that might help you. In the "Submitted >Play Aids and Misc Files" Section you'll find files that contains all buildings and roads in collected images. Check out Road Hex Guide, Stone Building Guide and Wooden Building Guide. They are usefull when creating maps.
