Spruance as double feature

Post by Kursk1943 »

I'm playing Ironman Scen Nr 10, time is July 1943, version 1.8.11.26b.
When opening the screen to assign a CV TF commander I got this. Has anyone made the same experience? Is it a known bug? Not that I would complain...

First raised as an issue in October 2009.[:)]

Scenario 1 shipped out with two Spruance, one intended to be a TF leader the other to come in with entry of a HQ in 1943.  It is a consequence of how historical leaders get assigned to their historical commands.  Similar to there being two MacArthurs.  One starts off in the Philippines and the second is assigned to SWPAC HQ which enters the game in mid 1942.  Two separate database entries are required as the game will not automatically remove a leader from command in order to be automatically transferred to another command.
