Will not install game

Just purchased the game and after downloading the install process stops after running after 30 seconds. No error message. Tried suggestions on forum for different browser and preferred download manager and still does not finish the download. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I see two different problems. is that right?

1. I downloaded the game and ran the install. It stopped after 30 seconds.
2. I cannot download the game because it won't finish.

If you don't get an error message, how do you know it stops installing after 30 seconds ?

Sometimes it means it is awaiting some input from you. Alt-tab all the way through the open apps to see if a pop-up is hidden. 20 seconds is about the time it will ask you for a serial number.
Run it as Administrator in case there is a rights issue.
The file size should be 581,849. You can move the file out of the downloads directory and download it again. See if the file sizes are the same. Make sure you have plenty of hard drive space.
Re-boot and try again. If you don't have an SSD, it will take longer to install. BTDT

if you have a poor anti virus engine and or don't install as admin on a full administrator permissions pc, it may not work or install at all.

check AV and firewall logs

install and run as admin

add game to AV safelist, white list etc if your not sure, post which you use and i'll link you a guide

any pre requites the game needs, you will have to install, even if on the same day you already installed the same or a later or early version etc.

as always, post a report so at least others know what system you use etc,

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

Thanks-Will give it shot tomorrow. I got it to work. It was an old AV that had enable itself after the last windows update. Thanks for your help
