How do you slowdown the scrolling in the artillery screen?as it get really annoying choosing targets.

I don't think you can change it in-game, but did you try to slow down your mouse in your mouse properties?

Into the preferences menu you will find an option called "scroll delay" or something very similar, I don't remember it exactly. Try to adjust it from there.

IIRC, that option only changes the scroll speed for the normal game screen, but not for the Arty screen :( .

It doesn't seem to make much difference, how does everyone else use the arty screen?

I try not to come near the edge of the screen with my pointer :p.

Now honestly, I try to manouver around on the targeting map by clicking in the nav map on the lower right screen.

Are you sure you’re not talking about how fast the artillery rounds fall on map?
In such a case, the remedy is very simple: go in the preferences menu, and be sure the option “Fast Artillery” is turned OFF.

I'm quite sure it's the scrolling per se.
I have the same problem: once the pointer reaches the end of the map, the scrolling is so fast, that even in a moment you scroll about 20 hexes further.

Losqualo, I am really curious now!!!! I hadn't notice till now that this option doesn't affect the arty screen. I'll have to check it out when I go home.

I just re-checked it. At least for me the scroll speed option does NOT affect the scroll speed in the Arty screen :( .

I always zoom all the way out before I go into the arty assignment screen. This doesn't change the scroll speed, but it gives you more visible battlefield to work with.

Hope it helps.
