Praise for Peter

Post by UP844 »

I just posted an angry message in the "Check 6!" forum. 20 days after the game was released, nobody ever answered the many questions the users made [:@]. What a difference with the ToTH forum!!

So, let's all sing "Praise Peter the Great"! [&o] [&o] [&o]

I could not care less: I am not the only one, however, who got no replies (I could live with that). Nobody ever replied to the many questions posted by many other users in the Check 6 forum. The difference with Peter's dedication to his creation is striking.

Amen, to that,all of you.
It seems to me that Peter has a feeling for his game and his following, while the check 6 developers don't
seem to care, just as long as they can get a "half baked" product out the door to collect what money
they can, while they still can!
Those people seem not to be the least bit interested in improving what could really be great.

I always do [;)].

I check it even when I play ToTH, since you can never know what can come out of the mind of our resident devious scenario designer [:D].

Man, do I feel spoiled. This is the first and only forum I have ever joined and assumed this community was typical.
My love of the game made joining Peter's forum irresistible but now that I've read some of the previous posts I'm also
lucky to have found a place that has attracted such dedication from fellow TotH enthusiast, all brought together by Peter.
Good job Peter, good job![:)]

some may have seen my rants in particular concerning panzer corps 2.
Think its not far of release now but it was announced 14 odd months ago .
The community was fairly patient , generally positive apart from the 3D aspect ,
some for and some against , personally I wasn't in favour of it , but I`m old and set in my ways :).
PC1 was great , certainly a game I would play often while having a beer .
Toth was released before the announcement of PC2 , maybe 6-8 months ( please correct if I`m wrong )
I instantly got involved in the Toth forum ( yes I know I babble a lot ).
but I still checked up on PC2 forums .
The lack of communication in the 14 odd months of development of PC2 was astounding ,
post after post wondering if the game was still being developed? , had it folded ? bankrupted?
Who knew ? ,
Totally opposite to the Toth forums . A developer who laughed at all my silly comments or pictures :)
but he read every one of them.
As he has read every post put up on this forum ,
in the end I don`t care what becomes of PC2 because I will not buy it for the reasons above.
Peter - your dedication is rare and inspiring
