We're hoping to put out our first final candidate build tonight. No more features being added now - only bug fixes. Given past experience we will probably have to do two or three final candidates to iron out all bugs. So we need to allow another month of beta testing.

We have still to finish off two scenarios, the Reference Manual and the manuals for the ScenMaker and MapMaker. These will get reviewed and tested over then next month as well. So hopefully in a month's time we can go Gold. Add another three to four weeks for manufacture and shipping to stores.

Our policy is to ensure the product is stable before release. So if we strike a particularly nasty and recalcitrant bug then things may slip a little. Better that than the hassle to everyone of a buggy initial release.

The good news is that the game looks and plays GREAT. :D

What a difference a Publisher can make. I can think of one Who would have made You declare it gold and ship it out already. Props to Matrix!
