Another candidate: GBU-39. But range leaves in serious doubt and in this case.

Animal Assad has become an anti-meme around Trump's tweet. But this isn't a good time to make fun out of each other, because war is imminent -- Syrian regime got only 24-48 hours to response in defense, but consequence will still be made by US and her potential allies:

EDIT: Poor source, deleted.

That isn't even remotely a trustworthy source. An "expert on endangered species" commenting on foreign affairs in memespeak? And opening with false flag accusations? Why do you waste our time with stuff like that?

LiveUA just don't stop quoting the whole event since the chemical attack until now, and I got no time to put them together. I really doubt it's a false flag either, but when it involved with lots of deaths, an action will surely be done like what what Israel did already.

But I have read it again, it really is not a good media, too subjective and just pile up with other tweets that only poke Trump.

The distance to Tiyas is about 130 NM from the northern Israeli border and still around 80 NM from the Baalbek area up north in Lebanese airspace.
So the CMANO-DB is rather pointing on the Delilah loitering missile, launched by some F-16...

The distance doesn't look that bad. It was said to be planes flying over the sea, entering the sky over Lebanon and leaving in 10 or so minutes.

As for the CMANO-DB it definetly doesn't have everything. Could be Popeye Turbo indeed, but doesn't really make sense (could have taken other routes with less AA).
Could have been upgraded Popeye II that has range 150km (80nm). Could as well been live test of the revealed 2 years ago "Sky sniper" with suggested range of 250km (135nm). Could of course be the Delilah missiles per the russian MOD, but that 30kg warhead causing such damage and casualties makes it doubtful.

Where we are with the Syria/Russia situation and possible military options (light on operational details). The article uses the term escalation several times.

All this Syria stuff could have been stopped in its tracks had the Labour leader of the time had backed PM Cameron on a no-fly zone in 2013
He said he was which gave the hope that he would side with the government and when it came to the vote he would not back Cameron (i bet Corbyn had something to do with it no doubt)
Because the British didn't back a no-fly zone the Americans decided against going it alone
That war could have been stopped before it really got started
So you can blame the Labour party for all the trouble and with the pro-russion leader of the party we have in charge now god forbid if the people are daft enough to vote him in

Well, that's kind of a flip statement. Why don't you describe what you mean in detail and outline your actual concerns?

In a word: escalation.
For example, US strike kills Russian advisers, Russia attacks US DDG. US retaliates with further strikes against Russian troops and installations, etc. etc.

It's a tense, risky business, but the result of a Russian attack on a U.S. ship is probably more than Putin truly wants to bite off. That's an immediate Article 5 sort of deal that could potentially get all of NATO into the mix. Of course, that doesn't mean one of his subordinate commanders might not go off and do something stupid. I guess it depends on how well-defined the ROE is for the Russians in Syria. But I'll also say this: anyone who wants to go slinging chemical weapons at civilians had better be ready to reap the whirlwind. Then an even larger question is what can you believe from the media anymore anyway? It's the old Chinese curse- we're living in 'interesting times.'

No, the US calls their Russian counterparts on that big red phone and tells them Russia is responsible for getting their forces out of the way. Outside of nuclear war, the US and other NATO allies hold all the cards. Russia will not go nuclear over the middle east. They could have many times before
in my life time. Another angle is that Russia is becoming increasing dependent on military sales. They do not want to be embarrassed, which they will be if they even light up on the US and NATO. There are reports tonight that the UK and France may lead the way for domestic reasons I guess. But perhaps tactically as well. The real question now is "what is everyone fighting over". The only things I can think of is 1. good vs evil 2. the geographic corridor between Iran and the Russian naval base in Syria 3. Saving little kids from gas.

I am afraid that if US-Russia clash breaks loose, it will be multi-geographical -- there are some unfinished business in Ukraine, Georgia, Bearing Sea Strait and Kuriles. Those windows for military opportunitists will yank wide open given by their locations.

Shortly before an election, a spin-doctor and a Hollywood producer join efforts to fabricate a war in order to cover up a Presidential sex scandal.
