SOVIET BUILDUP: 3 Brigades becomes 1 Division not working

Hi,

due the manuel it is possible to build up 2-3 rifle brigades to one division at the beginih of the war. I just tried it but it doesnt work. I'm in march 42 and still dont work. All brigades are under STAVKA control. What wrong here?

I think (NRBH) that you can't do that until June '42. And it is two brigades into a division.

You might not want to do too many. You need those brigades for reserve activation plus two divisions and a brigade make a rifle corps.

I'm not talking about a corp. I meant division. Due to the manuel you can make since june 41 one Inf Division out of 2 (or 3) rifle brigades. DOnt work

Right, that was changed in a later patch, now the earliest date you can combine Soviet brigades into divisions is May, 1942. I was just suggesting that you not do it for every one since brigades have their uses, too.

Also, carefull you can merge Rifle brigades but not Naval Infantry brigades.
