Newbie Victory points

Post by tonyscrase »

I am playing operation dragon. I think I understand about points for taking objectives and for holding objectives at the end of the game. But am not sure about points for enemy units

below is the allied points
AX lost (750) number pts
men (1000) 7838 52
guns(100) 126 7
AFV (10) 0 0
Aircraft (5) 110 126

I would have thought eg men 7838/1000 = 8
guns 126/100 =1
etc
Also I do not know what the (750) means

THANK YOU AND TO EVERY ONE HAS ANSWERED MY EARLIER QUESTIONS

Yes this screen is one of the most unclear in the game. If I remember correctly the 750 in brackets next to Ax means 750% ie that the points are multiplied (scaled) by 7.5

So your men points is (7838/1000)*(750/100) = 58.7 I guess the 7838/1000 is rounded down before multiplying by 7.5 as 7x7.5 = 52.5

All in all its one of the weakest parts of the game feedback to the user, hope that helps a bit
