Chicks are nice but completely OT.

This thread is about the Coriolus force. [:D]
ORIGINAL: geofflambert

I'll start off this thread with this:
You're all probably aware of the Coriolus force and the fact that in the Northern Hemisphere low pressure areas, tropical storms, hurricanes and tornados roatate in a counter-clockwise fashion (as seen from my starship).
The opposite is the case in the southern hemisphere.

My question is this: If you play baseball in the southern hemisphere do you have to run the bases in a clockwise fashion?
I do not know what is scarier: that I do understand nothing of this demonic script or that I am starting to see the demons that it evokes.

That's AWESOME. I was kidding about putting her on the top art. The sideart did not even register in my thinking as I've not done any of the sidearts, just the topart.

I will definitely use that sideart.

I've added to Reg's (I believe) new planes/rotating art.
Two recent ones:

George/Hellcat.

Thanks, although I didn't add the wing and fuselage stripes... so it doesn't 100% match the top art.

I figured you were saying it in jest; in any case, I had no clue how to add pinup art to top art without the result looking ridiculous. That caused my shift to the side art.

Attached is a swipe at the George.

Just did my first sideart, to match a Oscar IIb I made. Still needs a little touch up on the edges, the lower wing and a yellow propeller.

What is clockwise, or counter-clockwise? Isn't that confusing terms to use on starships? Maybe it is intergalactic terms for measuring girth on planets?
