A Spitfire (without the tactical factor) will go to the 0-box but nothing for the Pacific thank-you

The empty TRANS loads the ART from Shanghai and the task force stops in the China Sea 0-box.

A second task force of 3 CV and 4 CA also sails to China Sea. Still no intercept?

The task force sails to South China Sea (I decline intercepts) where 2 CA's load the two Divs in the Philipines. It settles in the 3-box.

Four potential areas for naval combat.

First up, the Norwegian Sea, where the Italians decide to have a go.

Searches: Axis 1, Allies 10.

The Italian wolf-pack reaches a perfect firing position and looses full spreads. Spotting the wakes, the escort charges in and does enough damage to force the subs from the fight (2 surprise points to reduce D to A).

Then the torpedoes find their marks (rest of the points used to increase damage).

The sub returns to Hamburg.

Next up, East Med.

The Italians don't add anything else. The Allies scramble the Spitfire to the 0-box.

Searches: Axis 7, Allies 9. No combat.

The Japanese decline the combats. However, the Allies could have a go in the South China Sea.

The P-40's begin searching.

A US PBY-5 can make up to the 4-box. Does it join in?

The stage is nearly set. Do the Allies want to throw the subs in as well?

The Japanese forces blunder about spending more time checking formations than looking for the enemy. The Allies on the other hand ...

Searches: Allied 2, Axis 10.

How do the Allies wish to play this.

No rush. I’ll be away from the computer for a while now as I’m at the garage waiting for car to be fixed.

About £300 but somewhat better than the £700 or so Ford would have charged [8|].

been reading your AARs for a while love them! i don't comment much but FORD got me - we had a fire truck that we had to replace in a hurry and ended up with a FORD, couldn't rid of it. When asked what the letters on the front meant the standard reply was Found On Road Dead...
Cheers
