Fantastic game! And I enjoyed losing several games

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

It will reduce the port level 1 pt/turn without risking damage to the ships in a direct bombardment.

Okay so I need to block all 3 port hexes. Thank you for your replies.

I mopped up that Spanish pocket so it is all peaceful again there and the # of sunk transports is over 30 and many more warships sunk, but now Sicily is overrun with British and they wiped out the Palmero Italian troops gaining them a big port so I only hold Siracuse with Fallshirmjagers while Germans tanks & troops with air & naval support are trying to attack into Messina but it is too narrow. I think I will have to do my own amphib into Palmero to relieve the island cause attacking into Messina is too slow. I'm praying to the German pagan gods that Italy does not jam out of the war. The Italians scored some NM points during the earlier campaigns which may help prop up their feelings.

I'm still on 1943 but the war is like in late 44 historically with massed Allied landings and a big Russian push against Romania and the Army Group Center with just superior German engineering helping my troops & tanks to cut down the red hordes wave after wave. The Soviets are being slaughtered but they are not losing ground yet cause the huge swaths of marshes and low supply areas stops me from taking advantage of gaps. My fighters look like Me 262 jets now which I guess is not too unreal cause they had completed the tech by then historically but Hitler most probably didn't want powerful jet fighters made cause he wanted Germany to lose the war.
