Hitler Directive or Drive to Moscow?

If you're playing a PBEM game why would you not want to follow the Hitler Directive instead of Drive to Moscow? I understand that the objectives can change, but it seems to me the extra PP you get make up for that.

What do you guys think?

By the way, I really love this game.

There are multiple reasons you would want to choose something else than going with Hitler.

Those reasons are all stated in the game manual.
