New to the board!

Hey guys! Been a long time player of WiTE. However I am finally deciding to go relatively hardcore with it.

I am currently playing through my first ever Soviet Campaign (which considering my political leanings its surprising I have taken so long to do one)

As having played almost exclusively as the Wehrmacht. I finally won a campaign and defeated the USSR (In 1943 no less)

But playing as the Soviets I am finding offensive operations very difficult to plan and execute on anything like the scale I'm used to as the Germans.

Any hints on Soviet Offensive ops?

Dont bother with offensive ops until first winter comes. Once it ends, it depends. If playing against the ai you can start thinking about offensive ops around end summer or mid summer. But those ops arent like the german ones. They are more about pushing the germans and, from time to time, pocket a few units. Soviets can only do the kind of offensive ops the germans do around mid 1944, although against the ai it is earlier, due to the ai being rather stupid.
