I tried starting my first global war scenario.
First setup (USA), first problem. I put 4 convoy point in the 4 needed sea areas to satisfy the USA / Jap trade agreement but I
got the message that the trade agreement was not satisfied.
Any suggestion for this?
Yes, you need five convoys in each sea area to satisfy the trade agreement: Four to ship the resources from the US to Japan, and one to ship the build point from Japan to the US. The US does not need any convoys in the Japanese Coast; that is Japan's problem, not the US's.
When u are setting up units for the US (or any nation) there is a “set up rules” button - if u press it it tells u where to set up the us convoys (15 in total). The Japanese set up
5.
The us need to be careful not to move these units until the appropriate embargoes are in place ...

I am pretty sure that the total number of CPs needed are 20 for US.

Thanks for the answers,
I calculated only the convoys needed to deliver the resources to Japan and not the one (in each zone) needed to transport the build point from Japan to the USA...
Whoops- 20 of course! Duh. US puts 5 in each of west coast, mendicino, Hawaii and central pacific and japan puts 5 in Japanese coast. The chain “shares” the movement of resources and BPs back and forth ...
