Problem Launching game

When I try to launch the game I get the following error :-

SDL FAILED (2) : Failed to use audio system

Any help please ?

pearley, this is from another thread about same problem...

It might be that if a sound device is not attached to your computer, then the sound card will not show as installed, so please do try connecting headphones or speakers if these are not already connected, then run the game and see if the issue persists.

to many missing drivers on pc, plus 8 years out of date for those which are on, answered elsewhere but didn't see this one i'm sorry to say

pearley did you try updating your soundcard driver?
Hopefully you can play this game cause it is quite good and more players are needed.
I think this game deserves to be popular for both single player games and email games.
