Chinese Air Force in the war

I like this site about the CAF as it gives some good detail regarding the types of planes in use by the different Chinese air groups, when they obtained them, and how they got them.

Since most were assembled in China, the site also gives the actual locations for the Chinese factories and points of assembly.

Good detail is also given regarding pilot training, the aces, and actual air battles, by year and actual dates.
It reveals the Chinese actually had certain planes earlier and in greater quantity than any version of WITP-AE has (so far) indicated.


The site also gives source information...which is a definite good thing, on this topic especially!

I had read some of it, few years ago. It seems, there were many deadly accidents during training. They were losing Chinese Wing Commanders, like one every 3 months.
And both sides greatly overestimated loses to enemy. Like 12 planes reported shot down, and in reality only two were lost.
