Please could we have a new patch

Post by Furbet »

The last hot patch 02.08.04 was released 14th April, that's seven weeks ago.

We are nursing a Netplay game through but it's sometimes hard work, knowing how productive Steve is there must be a significant number of improvements available [&o]

Thanks,

My netplay game has been on hold since Feb 9, nearly 4 months now. Bill and I have been unable to see if 2.8.4 fixed that issue since we ran into another similar game stopper bug that cropped up with that patch earlier in the turn.

I have no doubt Steve is working on these issues and I'm pretty sure they are some tough ones to crack. I can only hope that he can figure them out. Both Bill and I have moved on to other games but I do check this forum nearly every day.

Well, if you want a good patch, I would advise to be patient.

All 14 patches we've got as beta testers since the latest hot patch have problems in it, especially on air-to-air combat. Somehow we are back into the round-a-bout where something gets fixed and than another thing on air-to-air breaks down. Very unsatisfactory, but there are so many possibilities during air-to-air combat that it's very difficult to test everything.

We don't want you all to go shouting around: "what a mess" after you've got a new patch, don't we.
