new player - Am i supposed to be able to change my units loss tolerance via the formation oob page?

Hi, i'm trying the kasserine '43 demo scenario and i'm using the tutorial notes.
Right at the beginning it asks us to set the ground units to minimize losses. I didn't want to have to click on every individual unit to change this option so I opened up the formation oob page and changed the option there.
However this doesn't make any difference to the actual units so I was wanting to know if this is working properly or not?

EDIT- Sorry guys I just found an older post asking the same question so this query is redundant.
can one of the mods delete this or something?

Can you just edit your post and change the title to say "ignore this" or something like that? It's faster.
