Music?

Post by AstroCat »

This is a simple little question:

When is the background music supposed to play?
As of yet, I have heard no music in the game.
I admit I am newbie to the game but I was under the impression
the game had a soundtrack.
I have gone to the menu and turned music on and off but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

You can turn the music on and off via the “Map Options” button that appears in the group of buttons on the bottom left of the game screen.

Until the patch is availible you could download the Steve Fawkner soundtrack for the 1997 release of TAO. Open it up in your player and set it to repeat, start it and then minimize it before you open KP.

Egads no music!

I don't have the game yet but is there a way to access the music files and play them while KP is running?

I must admit I've never used the music feature of the game :-/

I always have Winamp on in the background, streaming web radio or playing mp3's.

if the in game music was ABBA all you'd hear would be me screaming

as it is I play UV with the sound off, I'll probably be doing the same here...

I can just see it....you click on the combat advisor and out of the speakers comes "take a chance on me..."
I'm essentially graphically and history oriented, unfortunately to connect the two I have to do maths. I hate maths.

Any ETA on the patch for this? It now appeasrs that KP buggers up other sound/music on my system. For example if I play CMBB after KP there is no sound and I have to reboot to get sound working again. Thanks.
