Bocage for DLC

Post by benpark »

Does this DLC contain "bocage" terrain?

I see a line of trees or brush in some screens, but nothing resembling bocage along hex-sides (the best way to deal with bocage when using hexes, I would maintain).

Rounding out terrain types to better simulate the areas depicted seems important. Doing Normandy without a dedicated bocage tile with specific behaviors (regarding AFV crossing them, etc) would be...a strange choice.

If they are not specifically included, can the work-around to depict them be described?

If you stay on the beach, you do not have to worry about hedges.
Although there is no sand either.[:D]

No Bocage for this DLC. It's not that important for these scenarios as I covered other types of battles. I used Brushes to simulate hedges when I thought I needed them in the terrain. I think it worked very well.
