My Air Force starts to arrive. I see no Intelligence reports of a German Air force.

My last post for about a week. I'm lucky enough to have some time off to head to my cottage. We have no electricity, so I will not get to post. I may get a couple of turns in though ...

I should have looked at what I was going to post before doing it. Here is the text box so it can actually be read.
******************
I’ve been thinking about this a lot and there is a big opportunity here for me.
In the area West of Clerf, the Germans have elements of the Herman Goring Pz Div, the 7 FJD and the 15th PzGren and two HQs.
By taking out the bridges at Clerf and Drauffelt, I cut off alll of these German units. I can then attack them from the South and West with at least two divisions (4th Armd and 80th Inf).
The 26th Inf can be moved into position to reinforce or exploit the success of the attack.
This attack does a number of things:
1. Could inflict lots of damage on some German divisions.
2. Threatens the flank of the German push West of St. Vith.
3. May force the Germans to send bridges to assist the withdrawal, which takes important resources from elsewhere.
Timing
The attack will be launched either in the afternoon of 23 Dec. I need to move the 80th into place – which should mainly be complete today. The 4th is not in as good shape supply wise, so I will move it a bit this afternoon and then let it resupply in the morning.
I’m going to attack both bridges today and then if needed in the morning.
