I realize you are unloading supply - but is Singapore in an of itself producing sufficient supply to support so many landings ? Do you have enough ships to carry the supply ?

I knew the KB was reduced, so it makes it an easier decision. I think the CVs he has out there must still have damage as well. The can't have all been fixed up by now.

Buffs get a bad rap! They're bad, yes, but the service rating is the worst part. The other stats aren't so different than a Wildcat.

I've got supply out the wazoo! The Allies don't need forward base production. With Java, Sumatra and now Malaya in Allied hands the flood of supply and troops coming from India, Cape Town and Australia is never ending. Singers now has about 250k after sending about ten TFs forward in the past week.

Everything that can is set to upgrade. I have no shortage of transports. About 100 just upgrading and waiting at Cape Town. More at Perth. Lots traversing constantly.

It's been fun to use all of this Allied stuff early!

Lowpe had some family get togethers happening so the turns have slowed for a bit here. I' dying to get the next one and see what's happened. Did the KB replenish with LBA and come for me again? Or did they send in the BBs and CAs? Did our troops unload at Quinhon?

Based on the last questions from Mcclan5 I think I need to do a logistics update and overall picture of the game as well. I'll try to sort that out later today.

Phew! So the KB decides to retire, the BBs do not interfere, and troops do unload at Quinhon. About 250AV consisting of two brigades and about four armoured units with a bunch of base forces, engineers and AA are installed, but there is very little supply still. Hopefully I'll only need one more day unloading to get the bulk off and then quickly get out toward Soc Trang where I can unload more safely if I need to.

The Japanese send a small Oscar escorted Kate group from Cam Ran Bay but they are all destroyed in the afternoon following their morning escapade sinking two AMs.

Kota Baru falls, which is great. These troops will march toward Kuantan now.

Temuloh is closed by 4Es and I'll keep this going for a few days to make sure, then start milkruns to hit both troops and fields, here and at Kluong.

The KB looks like it moved to Samah to regroup, possibly fill out bombers as well after the last strike, if he's not just replacing the groups. I'm banking on having one more day to unload, but even if not the LBA is now at Quinhon to help.

The F2A3 was a dog compared to the earlier more maneuverable models of the Buffalo and was less maneuverable and more sluggish than the F4F-3 or F4F-4. Also the Brewster Company was beset by building delays and management difficulties. The Brewster company had to be taken over during the war and either made other companies' aircraft or continued with it's own sub-par designs like the Buccaner. The Finish aces made their kills against poorly flown Soviet aircraft in a much better earlier Buffalo model the F2A2.

The Allies have so much I don't really need it. Just more tankers. Although the Allies have so much supply too, I could and not miss it.

Even now I've not really fallen behind, just had to slow shipments when the KB was nearby a week ago or so. Now everything is flooding in again, and Medan is more accessible without an IJ presence along Malaya.

I'm setting up my shipments from East Coast to Cape Town and then into the DEI. Once Indochina is secure I've got some units planning for Balikpapan as well, so that will be another source eventually.

My goal for the Japanese control of oil was to take or destroy all of the DEI sources by Jan 43. I thin I can reach that now and possibly go even farther.

I brought more than I'd thought to Quinhon. After a second uncontested day of unloading there is now 540AV in the base with 36k supply and about 8 base forces, three big AA units, a bunch of armor and a half dozen engineer units. This base will expand rapidly, and these forces will move on Cam Ran Bay immediately. I've installed MTBs and PTs now and there are 100 mines laid. The RN base force has two 6inch CD guns, and I'll build forts as well as the airfield quickly. I expect a few tries to bombard, so I've got CM Keokuk on the way near Soc Trang with 200 more mines.

All amphibs will not retire and move back to Soc Trang to complete unloading some more vehicles and supply. The US 32nd ID is marching with an AA unit toward Saigon. There are 7k troops shown in the base. Cam Ran Bay shows about the same. Both are in good territory, so I may need more. Hopefully the armor will make a difference at Cam Ran Bay.

I landed a small Aussie armor unit at Chanthaburi over night. This should give him pause, as that is very close to Bangkok. I suspect some bombing tomorrow, and possibly troops flown in to try and hold the base. Nothing is there now so it could just auto-flip before that happens though. I have more stuff on the way to drop there if it does go to the Allies and I'll try to get up into Thailand and Laos with those troops.

On the way to Komong Trach are the big Command HQs for So Pac and Pacific Fleet. These should help with a lot of the logistics here and also give a punch to ground troops and better recovery.

If you can spare one of your CRB units to swing up the road and take Dalat from the NE, that would seal off one of the potential escape routes for the Japanese in CRB. A small tank unit could probably do the detour and still be available for the fight in CRB.

Two armor units are heading to Dalat. I'll send one up to the base near Ubon as well. Upon has a garrison limit of like 20 I think, so something will be there.

Waiting for a turn here. Thought I'd post some stuff. Here is Burma. This will be a more active area soon. I'm marching some Chinese to challenge Mandalay, hopefully lightly defended.

I have units prepping for Pegu and will launch something there within a month.

The two IJA divisions at Lashio are looking pretty isolated now. The ships at Rangoon are very islolated. The mines and CD guns and bombers have basically closed any escape routes now.

The Hurricane IIb have a good high ceiling for this part of the game, just above where a Tojo can fly. Using them for that high role mostly. I have just about all airframes here playing some role. The only one i've consciously sent for training units only is the Hurri I. Too slow.

Off in Greece now but got the combat report from Lowpe and have a few minutes to report. Pretty quiet as the Allies withdraw safely from the Quinhon area to around Soc Trang. I sent in 200 mines and more PTs, but a CL led bombardment hits the base and does very little damage.

I stood down the CAP and sent most away anticipating a bombardment, and he did also send in sweeps which hit only a few bleeding Beaufighters. This base is now self sufficient and will quickly build up. The mines and PTs should reduce bombardment threats and bombing will meet some decent AA here, so I'm not worried about that. Our troops get one step closer to Cam Ran Bay by knocking back the naval guard here again, and I'm curious what is at Cam Ran now. Will we have enough to take it? It looks like no more than a regiment considering there is a fort there and a base force, and only 7k troops listed by recon.

If I can get Cam Ran quickly, Saigon will fall as well. The US 34th is marching down with AA and will aim of to enter from the west through Bien Hoa. I've got a lot on the way and will start marching from Pnom Penh NW as soon as more units are landed and have gathered there.

More work done to mop up Malaya and move on Southern Thai bases. Lots of armor though will move to Patani to transfer to Kompong Trach immediately.
